The partnership announcement coincides with the launch of Pudgy Penguin’s ‘Pudgy World’ metaverse, built on ZKSync and integrated with the new Pudgy marketplace.
In the near future, Pudgy World will include highly customized purchase flows to let users purchase traits to customize their Penguins from the digital experience shortly following launch. The updated Pudgies marketplace replaces the previous experience and offers new features including secure peer to peer trading and token gated holder social feed + directory.
The marketplace will also feature integrations from Pudgy Penguins & Snag partners Dynamic.xyz and LayerZero. Dynamic’s auth layer lets new Web3 users easily create new wallets via email eliminating the need to manage private keys, and let users operate seamlessly across Pudgy World, pudgypenguins.com, and marketplace.pudgypenguins.com from a single account. The new pudgy marketplace will also replace the current Lil Pudgy’s bridge by letting Lil Pudgy’s move across Ethereum and Polygon directly from the marketplace using LayerZero’s ONFT standard.

Users can scan traits from any physical Penguin, register their traits to a new or existing wallet, and purchase new traits via credit card with no additional friction. By end of year, users will be able to purchase their favorite traits directly from the Pudgy World metaverse.
